5 Promises

To help kids succeed in life, CYA strives to fullfil the five promises articulated by America's Promise Alliance. They are:

• A healthy start
• A safe place to be with structured activities
• An ongoing relationship with a caring adult
• A marketable skill through effective education
• An opportunity to give back through community service

In addition to the nurturing that CYA's Camp R and Tiny Tots Programs provide, CYA works closely with the Boy Scouts of America.

Scouting mission--to help young people make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes--is a strong complement to CYA's own philosophies and programs.
