In case you missed it, this year’s principal honoree was Sy Holzer, President of PNC Bank. Sy took time from his busy schedule to tour our facilities prior to the dinner. In his remarks at the event he spoke literally and figuratively about what he had seen. Where, he asked, do people find companionship and support? They find it, he said, on Main Street. Where, he asked, can people go for help and information? For a place to exercise? Or, to have a nutritious meal? They go, he said, to Main Street because it’s a community of caring and dedicated people.

 

CYA—286 Main Street, Lawrenceville—is a remarkable place. But acitivities and facilities can’t, be taken for granted. It takes enormous resources to conduct programs, maintain facilities, pay utility costs, and keep things running smoothly. We are deeply grateful to everyone who helps us—which, of course, includes YOU.
