CYA's Home Delivered Meals Program delivers more than just food. It also delivers companionship and protection.
Meal deliveries allow CYA to stay in touch with people; to monitor their well being; to help them physically and emotionally. Were it not for a visits from a CYA meals-on-wheels volunteer, many elderly individuals would have little or no contact with others.
Sometimes a person is temporarily unable to go grocery shopping or prepare a meal. Other times, the problem is much more profound. Regardless of the situation, CYA is ready to help.
